Frontier Shootout
Hennessey survived a 12-0 run by Frontier to start the fourth quarter Thursday to pull out a 69-67 win to advance to the boys championship game.
The Eagles led 56-48 entering the fourth before the hosts took command early in the fourth.
Jael Torres tied the game 65-65 with 1:44 to play and later put his team up for good, 68-67, with a bucket.
Despite making just 1 of 3 free throws in the final seconds, the Eagles were able to get multiple stops on the defensive end over Class B’s third-ranked Mustangs.
Camdyn Richardson had a massive night as he scored 32 points, including 21 in the first half. Torres scored 20.
Hennessey was set to play Wesleyan Christian School in Saturday night’s final.
The Eagles beat Glencoe 74-52 on Tuesday in the opener. Richardson and Garret Vinson scored 17 apiece while James Sims added 16 and Hunter Weber 13.
The Lady Eagles dropped their first game of the tournament, 45-32, to Kellyville on Monday. The Lady Ponies were up five at half, then doubled the margin in the third.
Hennessey got nine points from Ally Painter and played Friday afternoon in the consolation semifinals (after press time).
Cimarron Winter Classic
The top-seeded Lady Longhorns had no problem advancing to the semifinals with a 69-23 victory over Cimarron on Thursday.
Dover led 36-11 at halftime and opened the second half on a 20-4 run.
Katelyn Harviston scored 22 and Karlee Harviston 18 as Dover improved to 8-0.
The Lady Longhorns played Mulhall-Orlando in Friday’s semifinal.
The Dover boys won their third straight by putting away Billings 58-29 Thursday.
They led 30-18 at halftime and outscored Billing 20-8 in the third.
Casen Buck led the team with 15 points, including three 3-pointers. Lucas Conrady scored 13 and Nathan Cohee 11.

NextEra Energy Invitational at Garber
Twelve Cashion players scored in Thursday’s 86-6 victory over Aline-Cleo in the girls’ bracket.
Top-seeded Cashion got 18 points out of Megan Shafer while Laynee Woody added 14.
Cashion led 29-1 after a quarter and 46-4 at the half.
The Lady Wildcats played Hooker in the semifi nal (after press time).
Cashion’s boys played the same foe and had a similar score in their 89-15 quarterfinal victory.
Thirteen different Wildcats scored, led by Kyle Yowell’s 15 points.
Brody Nichols scored 12 and Ashton Moore 11 as the team joined the girls squad in moving to 3-0.

Canton Invitational
Ben Marsh had a monster day as the Lomega boys cruised into the semifinal.
Marsh scored 31 points in an 82-42- victory over Cherokee.
He started early with 11 points in the first quarter as the Raiders raced to a 26-7 lead. They pushed it to a 30-point halftime lead as Marsh already had 23 by that point.
Lomega also got 13 points from Lance Yost.
The Raiders were set to play Crescent in Friday’s semifinal (after press time).
The Lady Raiders got their second lopsided win of the season over Calumet as they won 72-13 in their quarterfinal game.
Like their first matchup, Lomega held Calumet scoreless in the first quarter and led 21-0.
Abby Swart scored 15 of her 26 points in the first quarter. She made five 3-pointers in the game.

South Canadian Classic at Leedey
Top-seeded Okarche led by as many as 15 but Arapaho- Butler kept it interesting.
Eventually the Warriors pulled out a 66-61 quarterfi nal victory on Thursday.
Up four at halftime, the Warriors were able to extend their lead to double digits in the second half.
A 12-point lead going into the fourth was narrowed as Okarche only scored five in the fourth quarter.
Jett Mueggenborg led three Warriors in double figures with 24. He also grabbed 10 rebounds.
Hunter Mueggenborg added 13 and Wyatt Pinkerton 12.
Okarche was set to play Hammon in the semifinals on Friday (after press time).
The Lady Warriors pulled out a 49-32 victory against Balko in their quarterfi nal game.
They played second- seeded Red Oak Friday in the semifinals (after press time).
