Doris Johnson
Doris Prim-Caldwell- Johnson was born on Sept. 15, 1963, in Oklahoma City. She was the 10th child born to Ervin and Rose Prim.
Doris peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord at Integris Baptist Medical Center on Jan. 26, 2023.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Rose Prim; husbands, Darnell Caldwell and James Johnson; one brother, Maynord Prim; and three sisters, Thelma Woods, Darlene Taylor and Lenora Gracey.
Doris accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized.
In her later years, she rededicated her life and became a very involved member of God’s Covenant Church.
Doris loved cooking for church dinners, assisting with planning activities, cleaning and doing what she could to assist with the work of ministry.
From the time she was born, Doris was a firecracker.
She attended school in Enid.
There was never a dull moment when Doris was around. She was very mischievous. Her brothers and sisters would call her “Our little brother.”
Doris liked cooking, cleaning and feeding people. She loved to go to the casino, play cards, fish, ride four-wheelers, go to garage sales and play Bingo.
She enjoyed telling her brother Keith what to do and not to do and to affectionately tell people to wash their hands before they entered her kitchen (especially Edie, her sister-in-love).
She also got much joy by taking her teeth out and scaring people. Her laughter was contagious and she found joy in so many things.
Doris married Darnell Caldwell in 1982. She later married James Lee Johnson and had two daughters, Ju-ticka Tamar Arreguin and Marque Veronica Nicole Caldwell.
Doris loved being with her children and grandchildren so much.
She has several nicknames, Ms. Kitty, My Little Brother, Dianna Doris and TeTe.
She touched many lives, and she will be greatly missed.
Doris leaves to cherish her memories her children Juticka Arreguin (Eduardo) of San Bernardino, Calif., Marque DeLeon (Joe) of Dallas, Texas; siblings Betty Reid of Oklahoma City, Jackie Taylor (Regetta) of Oklahoma City, Victor Prim of Hollywood, Calif., Carmella Cherry (Arthur) of Enid, Carlene Johnson (Dexter) of Oklahoma City, Ervin Taylor (Myrtle) of Oklahoma City, Dwayne Prim of Enid, Keith Prim (Edie) of Dover, Craig Prim (Lilly) of Enid, Wendell Prim (Servrina) of Kingfisher, Sherry Junius (Nathaniel) of Mustang; aunt Susie Taylor of Montgomery, Ala., uncle George Taylor of Cleveland, Ohio; four grandchildren, Sirena DeLeon, Dallas DeLeon, Joseph DeLeon and Khelen Washington; and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends whom Doris loved.
