Jeffrey Lynn Beutler was born May 31, 1959, in Guthrie to James Alan and Ina Grace (Eakins) Beutler.

He passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022, in Oklahoma City.

Jeff graduated from Cashion High School in 1977.

He married Patricia Ann Kadavy on March 6, 1983, and they were married 39 years and had three children, Jared, Brittany and Lance.

Jeff received the State FFA Degree and served on the volunteer fire department for 20 years.

He was also a member of the Cashion Christian Church and served on the Cashion Town Board, Kingfisher County Fair Board, Cashion 4-H Leader and farmed for 17 years with his dad.

After farming, he worked for Temtrol, NOV-Wilson and Southwest Oilfield Supply.

Upon his retirement, he followed his grandkids’ sports and many livestock events.

Jeff loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved mowing, dancing, shopping for show pigs, taking his grandkids on Ranger rides, taking his grandkids to feed cattle cubes and going on family vacations – basically just anything where he was around people.

He was a son, father, brother, husband, cousin, Papa, uncle and community leader.

There is no question that Jeff’s proudest achievements were his grandkids.

With his funny, ornery personality, he loved to tell stories (whether appropriate or not) and make people laugh.

He always knew how to lighten the mood and put a smile on everyone’s face. He was going to tell you what he thought whether you agreed with him or not.

Jeff will be missed immensely by his family, friends, and community.

Jeff was preceded in death by his son, Lance Wayne Beutler, and parents, Jim and Ina Beutler, as well as his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Milton and Nadine Kadavy.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, Jared and Amanda Beutler of Guthrie; daughter Brittany Beutler of Yukon; and grandchildren, Hendrix and Ava Beutler of Guthrie and Paxton Burnett of Yukon.

Jeff is also survived by his sister, Rita Carroll and husband Wiley of Cashion; sister-in-law, Sharon Kadavy of Kingfisher; brother-in-law, Duane Kadavy and wife Gail also of Kingfisher; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Moery and husband, Jim of Edmond.

Jeff is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he loved so much and you know who you are.

Funeral services for Jeff will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 28, at the Cashion High School gymnasium with interment following at Cashion Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.

Visitation was 4-7 p.m. Wednesday with the family receiving guests during this time at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 N. 1st St., Guthrie.
