Donna ‘Jeanne’ Duffy

Donna Jeanne Duffy was born on Dec. 16, 1952, in Champaign, Ill., and died Sunday, May 29, 2022.

She was a longtime resident of Kingfisher. Jeanne was employed by the City of Kingfisher as an accounts payable clerk and was a member of the Goodtimers Extension Club.

On Jan. 5, 1980, Jeanne married Jerry Duffy. Jerry preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 2018. Her parents, Daniel G. Simonton, Jr. and Wilma Louise (Logan) Simonton, also preceded her in death.

Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Amy Duffy, of Oklahoma City; brother, Daniel G. Simonton, III, of Reno, Nev.; sister, Laura Proffitt of Tulsa; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Alfred Lee and Arlene Duffy of Stillwater; Floyd and Rita Duffy of Eagle, Colo.; Linda and Alan Chamberlain of Denton, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Kingfisher Cemetery with Alan Chamberlain officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
