DISAPPEARING ACT
ALL LEGS –Kingfisher High School senior Ally Stephenson isn’t pulling off a magic trick, but did work some magic during the Class 4A state track and field meet in Catoosa. Stephenson is pictured after clearing a height during the high jump as half of her body disappears into the mat. On her last attempt at 5 feet, 6 inches, Stephenson was able to clear the height to win the state championship for the third time in the event. She also won the 4A high jump title as a freshman in 2019 and last year as a junior. It was her second of two gold medals at the 2022 meet. For more on Stephenson, see Page 6A of this edition. There are more state track and field results for KHS, Lomega, Cashion and Crescent as well as regional and state action for baseball, golf and tennis on Pages 7A, 13A and 15A of this edition.
