KHS boys take 6th against 6A field at Meadowlake in Enid

Kingfisher took on a field of Class 6A schools Tuesday at the Enid Invitational Golf Tournament.
The Jackets managed to come back with a sixthplace finish after shooting a 335 at Meadowlake Golf Course.
The host Plainsmen won the tournament with a 303, two strokes better than Norman and Choctaw.
Mustang fired a 317 for fourth while Yukon was fifth with a 327.
Kingfisher’s score was two strokes ahead of Stillwater in the 13-team field.
The Jackets were led by junior Blake Hill’s 6-overpar 77.
That tied him for 11th individually.
Tristun Burnham tied for 15th with his 79.
Jax Sternberger added an 87, Cash Slezickey a 92 and Paytun Burnham a 97.
