Loosen, York lead KHS at CV conference meet

Madeline Loosen won a pair of gold medals and placed in two other events to help highlight Kingfisher’s showing at the Canadian Valley Conference Track and Field Meet last week.

Loosen won the 800 and was part of the winning 3,200 meter relay team.

She also took second in the 1,600 and anchored the fifth-place mile-relay team.

Kingfisher’s girls scored 64 points to place sixth.

The KHS boys were fourth in their meet with 55 points.

Colton York won the conference long jump championship and was third in the 100.

York also ran the first leg of the third-place mile relay team.
