Hennessey approves coaching, other extra duties for 2022-23

In addition to hiring Gene Bennett as HS/MS wrestling coach March 7, the Hennessey school board also approved the following coaching and extra duties for the 2022-23 school year:

Dorinda Wolf, 77, Kingfisher, driving a 2021 Jeep, was eastbound in the Braum’s parking lot and struck a light pole.

Functional damage was reported to the Wolf vehicle.

Wolf sustained possible head and trunk injuries and was evaluated by emergency personnel at the scene, the report said.

Officer Justin Conner investigated the accident.

February 14, 3 p.m. - At S.H. 33 and 13th Street.

Debra Wise, 61, Fowler, Kan., driving a 2019 Mazda, was westbound on S.H. 33 near 13th Street.

Rhonda Bonham, 56, Kingfisher, driving a 2020 Buick Enclave, was northbound on South 13th Street.

According to the report, the Bonham vehicle stopped at the intersection of S.H. 33 and South 13th Street and proceeded northbound into the path of the oncoming Wise vehicle.

The Wise vehicle struck the Bonham vehicle in the passenger side, the report said.

Disabling damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.

Officer Ryan Gibson investigated the accident.
