Wrestlers prep for next week’s regionals
Local wrestling teams are off this weekend as the OSSAA will host dual state championships for all of the district champs.
They’ll return to action next week, however, in hopes of landing their own spots at state.
The girls wrestling regionals will be held Feb. 13-14.
There is only one classifi cation in Oklahoma, but there will be two regionals.
Kingfisher and Cashion will take part in the regional at Mustang High School.
The boys hit the mat on Feb. 17.
All three local schools are competing in Class 3A this season and all will be in the same regional.
