Wildcats’ state baseball game postponed, moved
Some of the Class 2A state baseball quarterfinals were able to be played on Thursday.
Cashion’s wasn’t one of them.
Severe weather delayed Cashion’s game against Oktaha and also moved its location.
The two were set to play at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Edmond Santa Fe High School, the fourth and last game of the opening round.
However, the severe weather that moved through the area halted the third game pitting Dale against Amber-Pocasset mid-game.
The completion of the Dale-AmPo game and the Cashion quarterfinal were moved to Friday at Seminole State in Seminole.
Cashion’s game was slated to begin at approximately 1:30 p.m. Friday (after press time).
The 2A semifinal games were also set for Friday evening at 4 and 6:30 p.m., the latter being the Dale-AmPo winner vs. the Cashion-Oktaha winner.
The championship game was originally scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Bricktown Ballpark, but will now be played at 2 p.m.
