Okarche will play Amber- Pocasset in the quarterfi nal round of the Class A fall state baseball tournament.

That was revealed Monday when the OSSAA released state brackets for all three classes.

The two teams will play at 4 p.m. Thursday at Edmond Santa Fe High School.

The winner advances to a Friday semifinal at 1:30 p.m., also at Edmond Santa Fe, against the Sterling-Rattan winner.

The Class A championship is 2 p.m. Saturday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Okarche enters state ranked third with a 22-6 record.

The Warriors have played six of the seven other teams in the bracket, including a 3-0 victory over Amber-Pocasset on Aug. 27.

Am-Po is ranked fifth and has a 20-11 record.

Other first round games see No. 1 Wright City take on No. 11 Hydro-Eakly at 11 a.m.; No. 10 Navajo vs. No. 4 Wister at 1:30 p.m.; and No. 2 Rattan vs. No. 9 Sterling at 6:30 p.m.

Okarche is 4-3 in its games against the rest of the field.

The Warriors beat Wright City 4-2 on Aug. 17. That’s one of only two losses for the Lumber Jax.

The Warriors also have two wins against Hydro-Eakly, including in last week’s regional.

Losses came to Rattan (7-6), Wister (11-9) and Sterling (1-0).

This is Okarche’s third straight trip to state counting all seasons.

The Warriors were semifi nalists last fall as well as in the spring of 2024.
