Lumpkin shines in LHS rout
Riley Lumpkin helped Lomega dominate the second and third quarters last Tuesday to pick up a double-digit road win.
The Raiders knocked off Okeene 69-46 in their first game since Dec. 12.
The bulk of that advantage came in the middle 16 minutes when the Raiders blistered their hosts 44-17.
Lumpkin scored 17 of those points, including 11 in the second quarter.
That was part of a 22-8 run that blew open what was a five-point game.
Lumpkin finished his night with 19 points.
Kelby Ott scored six of his 12 points in that second quarter.
The Raiders also got 10 points from Noah Snowden and nine from Dion Fisher as they improved to 6-1.
Lady Raiders still undefeated
Four different players reached double figures as the Lady Raiders stayed unbeaten with a 71-48 dismantling of Okeene.
Up by seven after the first quarter, Lomega went on a 13-2 run in the second and never looked back.
Emma Duffy led the way with 17 points, 10 of which came in the first half.
Hensley Eaton scored eight of her 15 in the first quarter.
Lomega also got 13 points each from Adysen Wilson and Sydni Walker. Wilson had just two points at halftime before closing strong.
Class B’s No. 1 Lady Raiders were 6-0 after the win.
