Lady Raiders thump Burlington for 4th win
The win streak hit four games for Lomega on Friday as the Lady Raiders sent Burlington home with a 92-15 defeat.
Not only did every Lady Raider play in the homecoming victory, but all 15 made at least one field goal in the game.
Lomega opened with a 24-0 run in the first quarter. It was the second straight game the Lady Raiders didn’t allow a point in the first eight minutes.
Burlington didn’t fare much better in the second quarter as Lomega went on a 33-4 run.
Kate Myers scored nine of her game-high 15 points during that stretch.
Lomega also got 11 points each from Paige Wheeler and Jenny Penaran.
Hadley Ott added 10 points while Bree Yost scored nine.
Monse Rivera was named homecoming queen prior to the game. She scored two points as Lomega moved to 4-1 on the season.
