Jackets, Perry split JH games

The Jackets pitched a shutout on the road to beat Perry 20-0.
The Jhett Birdwell to Jackson Willbanks connection proved to be a valuable one for the Jackets.
The two combined for all three Kingfisher touchdowns.
The first was a 30-yard pass play in the first quarter that saw the team take an 8-0 lead after Julian Orozco’s conversion run.
They later got together on TD plays of 20 and 38 yards.
Coaches Doug Jech and Fay Barnett said Andrew Hine, Cale Reagan and Orozco joined Birdwell and Willbanks in having standout games.
The seventh grade was 1-1 after the win.
