It’s déjá vu...again: Mueggenborg named TRC Most Valuable Player

    Okarche’s Jett Mueggenborg was voted Most Valuable Player of the Three Rivers Conference for 2024-25.

    It’s the third straight year for Mueggenborg to earn the honor, which is voted on by the conference’s coaches.

    The junior led the Warriors to both the regular season and conference tournament championships during the year.

    He also helped lead Okarche to a repeat Class A state championship as the team finished 32-0 on the season.

    Along the way, Mueggenborg averaged 26.2 points, 9 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 4.2 steals a game.

    He was also named the state tournament MVP for a second straight year.

    Joining Mueggenborg on the all-conference team were Okarche teammates Easton Roby and Hunter Mueggenborg.

    All-tournament selections from Cashion were Parker Mitchell, Drake Woody and Carson Gump.

    The Wildcats were runners- up to Okarche in the conference tournament and qualified for the Class 2A state tournament.

    Making the team from Hennessey were Camdyn Richardson and Hagen Copeland.

    Girls’ all-tournament team selections from Kingfi sher County were Megan Shafer, Abby Hobgood and Brooke Shafer from Cashion; Katie Kennedy and Emma Copeland from Hennessey; and Katie Parham and Callie Cramer from Okarche.

    Oklahoma Bible Academy’s Conley Cayot was voted the girls’ MVP.

    She led the Lady Trojans to the Class 2A state championship.

    This was the second time in Three Rivers Conference history that it has produced a boys and girls state champion.

    The other was in 2007 when the Cashion girls and Okeene boys won titles.
