It’s not baseball season just yet in Lomega.
The Raiders won back-to-back elimination games in Coyle to extend their campaign into this week’s area tournament.

That came two days after the Raiders eliminated Kingfisher County neighbor Dover 73-49.

Blake Snowden’s 3-pointer to end the first gave him eight points for the quarter and Lomega a 14-10 advantage.
Four quick points by the Raiders forced a timeout, but the Mustangs couldn’t fight back.
Kelby Ott’s bucket near the end of the first half put the Raiders up 31-21.
Snowden and Owen Duffy had combined for 23 of those points.
The lead was still 10 entering the fourth and Lomega made 9 of 13 free throws in the final minutes to keep its distance.

Shaw scored 21 in the loss to Lomega.
The Raiders were sent into the consolation bracket with Friday’s 57-39 loss to No. 18 Coyle.

The Raiders (18-9) will play ninth-ranked Kinta at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the area tournament in Stroud. Kinta was defeated 34-24 by No. 4 Glencoe Monday in their regional championship game.
The game was originally scheduled for Thursday, but the OSSAA announced postponements due to potential inclement weather.
