Dover sweeps Medford
The absence of the McNulty twins was not a problem for at least one night.
Dover got a monster night from Katelyn Harviston on Tuesday in a 62-29 victory at home against Medford.
The Lady Longhorns were down two starters as both Kamree and Karlee McNulty missed the game due to illness.
Harviston stepped up.
The sophomore - who is also a twin - scored 10 points in the first quarter as Dover got out to a 25-4 lead.
The Lady Longhorns didn’t look back…and neither did Harviston.
She ended her night with 26 points, which included four of the team’s eight 3-pointers.
Yareli Obeso made three from long range and all in the second quarter as Dover extended its lead to 40-12 by halftime.
Dover’s defense limited Medford to just three firsthalf field goals and seven for the game.
Joi Caldwell joined Obeso in scoring nine points in the win.
Rylee Buck scored eight.
Dover improved to 9-4 overall in winning for the sixth time in seven games.
Defense Carries ‘Horns
The Dover Longhorns’ offense wasn’t great on Tuesday.

The Longhorns led 19-7 at halftime and then allowed just two second-half points.
Two Dover players outscored Medford on their own.
Kolten Shaw poured in 19 points, including nine points in the second quarter when his team went on an 11-3 run.
Emory Norton added 10 points for Dover.
The win upped Dover’s mark to 4-9 for the season. The Longhorns have won two of their last three games.
