Classic Bowl events are this week

A number of local high schools will be represented in all-star basketball and football games at this week’s Classic Bowl XXXIII in Woodward.

The weeklong of events will be capped at 7:30 p.m. Saturday with the annual Classic Bowl football game.

Local players tabbed for the East team include Cashion’s Kyler George, Brexten Green and Caden Harrell; Kingfisher’s Caleb Dick, T.J. Parker and Cade Stephenson and Crescent’s Hunter Wilmoth.

The girls basketball games were set for Tuesday, June 1 (after press time).

Local players listed on the basketball rosters were Emma Duffy and Adysen Wilson of Lomega; Gracie Mills of Hennessey; Madison Owens of Okarche; Neely Tilley-Bedick of Cashion; and Britt Taylor of Kingfisher.

The boys basketball games will be Thursday, June 3, at Boomer Fieldhouse.

Selected locally to play were Jarret Birdwell, Maverick Ridenour and Matthew Stone of Kingfisher; Riley Lumpkin and Noah Snowden of Lomega; and Logan Kroener of Okarche.
