Burnham paces Jackets at Enid
Kingfisher was the only non-6A school in last Thursday’s Enid Invitational.
Still, the Jackets managed a fourth-place finish in the team standings behind Norman North, Ponca City and Enid.
Tristun Burnham, who recently committed to play collegiately at Southeastern Oklahoma State, led the Jackets with a 1-overpar 71.
That tied him for third individually, but he was eventually awarded fifth after a scorecard playoff.
Kingfisher shot a 316 as a team.
The Jackets got rounds of 80 from Blake Hill, 81 from Cash Slezickey, 83 from Myles Harrison and a 94 from Cale Reagan.
Jax Sternberger and Luciano Orozco played as individuals.
Sternberger delivered an 82 and Orozco an 86.
Norman North won the tournament with a 303, two strokes better than Ponca City.
Enid Blue was next with its 306.
