Baseball, softball districts this week

Dover and Okarche will host baseball district tournaments this week.

The OSSAA announced district assignments recently for Classes A and B.

Dover was tabbed as a host site and will be joined by Okeene and Verden.

Also in Class B, Lomega will travel to Lookeba-Sickles.

In Class A, Okarche will host Agra/Carney and Laverne.

The double-elimination tournaments must be completed by Saturday, April 23.

The winner of each district will advance to the following week’s regional tournaments.

Slow-pitch softball tournaments also will be played this week.

Dover will travel to Moss for a Class A district.

Those two teams will be joined by Mulhall-Orlando.

In Class 2A, Okarche is being sent to Binger-Oney along with Calumet and Pioneer-Pleasant Vale.

In Class 3A, Crescent will be on the road at Wayne. Joining them will be Elmore City-Pernell.

Hennessey also hits the road. The Lady Eagles will play a Class 4A district at Prague along with Davis.
