4 Lady Jackets tabbed softball all-conference
Four Kingfisher High School softball players earned the chance to compete in one more game earlier this month.
Macy McCully, Kaycee Karcher, Olivia Wilcox and Mia Farrell were chosen to the 2019 Tri-County Softball Conference all-conference team.
They played Oct. 8 in the all-conference game at Pioneer.
A junior, Farrell led the team with a .391 batting average in 2019. She was chosen as an outfielder.
Farrell had a team-high 43 hits and was second on the team with 28 runs scored. She added 10 RBIs.
Wilcox was second on the team with a .376 average as she was chosen as a pitcher and third baseman.
As a junior, Wilcox was second on the team in hits
(38), tied for second in RBIs
(23) and led the team with nine doubles.
Karcher, another junior, was picked at shortstop.
She led the team in runs scored (29), tied for second in RBIs (23) and was third on the team in hits (34).
McCully played every inning at catcher for the Lady Jackets in 2019.
The senior collected a .284 batting average and added 25 hits, 12 RBIs and had an on-base percentage of .411.
KHS finished 2019 with a 16-18 record.
