3 from KHS are all-district, all-conference
Three Kingfisher High School softball seniors were named all-district first team selections when the picks were announced last week.
Named to the District 4A-4 first team after a vote of the coaches were Mya Dewberry, Natalie Dick and Merrin Evans.
Dewberry and Evans were named as utility players.
Dick was a selection at third base.
Dewberry led the team with a .434 batting average this season.
She also led the team with 43 hits and 27 RBIs and was third on the team with 27 runs scored.
Dick was second on the team with a .378 average. She was second on the team with 37 hits and third with 21 RBIs.
Dick led the team with 32 runs scored.
Evans hit .289, which was fourth on the team.
She collected 26 hits and was second on the team with 23 RBIS.
Evans was also the team’s workhorse on the mound with 111 innings pitched.
She finished the season with a 4.04 earned run average.
Dick pitched 72 2/3 innings and had a 3.56 ERA.
Also for KHS, Taylor Mills and Addison Willson were honorable mention picks for the all-district team.
The Tri-County Conference coaches also announced their all-conference picks.
Mills was selected as an outfielder, Dick at third base, Evans at pitcher and Dewberry at catcher.
