Wilma Goodpasture

Wilma Fern Goodpasture passed away at the age of 91 on March 5, 2021.

She was born on Nov. 13, 1929, in Kingfisher, to Lou and Ruby Snow.

Wilma led an incredibly active life full of faith, laughter and love.

In her younger years, she loved playing basketball, while later in life she found joy in doing her own yardwork (even if it meant taping a cordless phone around her waist and climbing into a tree when she was far too old to be doing so).

She was never one to know her own limitations which resulted in her having very few. Wilma loved being surrounded by family and friends.

Her house was the holiday destination for many as she was a fantastic cook and a gracious host.

She loved going out to eat, especially to pizza buffets and Mexican restaurants, and looked forward to the weekly social activity with her Bible study group at Henderson Hills Baptist Church.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Kenneth Lee Goodpasture; her parents her brothers Cecil, Vernon and Durrel; her daughter, Sharon; and her son, Randy.

She is survived by her sister, Mary; her son, Gary and wife Patricia; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three greatgreat grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be private for immediate family only and under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service, Kingfisher.
