Wanda Pursell

Wanda Lee Pursell was born May 2, 1928, in Kingfisher.

She died Jan. 9, 2021, at her home in Temple City, Calif., at the age of 92.

Wanda grew up in Kingfisher with both of her parents, Samuel Nelson Pursell and Eunice Angeline Davis Pursell (June) and three sisters, Eva Maxine Pursell Dutton, Evelyn Fern Pursell Payne Boecher and Dorothy June Pursell Ketcham.

Soon after Wanda graduated high school in 1946, she moved to the Los Angeles area.

She lived with two of her sisters and worked.

She married Robert (Bob) H. Dutch on June 22, 1947.

Wanda worked at Allstate Insurance and was actively involved in Temple City Christian Church and her Beta Sigma Phi sorority.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters and daughter, Leanda Brown.

She is survived by daughter Bobbi Farewell and husband Daniel of Tehachapi, Calif., and four grandsons.
