Violet Skala Egan

Violet Katherine Skala Egan of Rogers, Ark., was born Nov. 6, 1940, in Oklahoma City and passed away Jan. 20, 2020, at Northwest Medical Center in Spring-dale, Ark.

She was 79.

A wake will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, and funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kingfi sher.

Violet attended Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School before graduating from Classen High School in Oklahoma City. She worked in real estate in her earlier years.

She was married to William Egan and they recently celebrated their 44th anniversary.

Violet was preceded in death by her parents, John and Christine Fuksa Skala; son, Sean Cheasbro; three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her husband of the home; son, Warren Cheasbro of Dover; daughter Renee Busby of Owasso; sister Genevieve “Jenny” Mitchell of Yukon; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
