Steven Russell

Steven Wayne Russell passed away Jan. 21, 2025.

He was born in Oklahoma City on Aug. 20, 1965, to Richard and Imogene Russell and grew up in Kingfi sher, where he attended school.

After that, he moved to Hugoton, Kan., where he married Michele Sullivan on Sept. 1, 1989.

Once he left Hugoton, Steven moved to Weatherford, but eventually found his way back home to Kingfi sher.

After working in the oilfi eld for many years, Steven later moved on to farming.

Outside of work, he had a deep love for hunting, fishing and car racing. He could be found at a racetrack many Saturday nights.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Jack Russell and Gary Russell.

He is survived by his sons Tyson and Tuckyr Russell, daughter Tailyr Kingsby, brother Richard “Dick” Russell and wife Janice, sister-in-law Kathy Russell, sister Tracy Cruz and husband Joe Cruz, sister Krystal Hurst and numerous nieces and nephews.
