Roberta Claudine Castonguay was born Nov. 10, 1934, in Erick to Buster and Claudine Williams.

She passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, at the age of 90.

Roberta attended Okarche High School and married Donald Castonguay of Omega in Little Rock, Ark., on Dec. 3, 1955.

They resided and farmed in the Omega area until moving to Kingfisher in 1995.

She earned several certifi cates working administrative jobs and worked at Sam’s Club and retired from Walmart.

Roberta loved greeting and talking to people and everyone loved her sense of humor.

Roberta enjoyed cooking, gardening, decorating, listening to old country and gospel music and reading the Bible. She loved playing the slots in Vegas and local casinos and adored her dog Susie.

Survivors include daughter Sandra Pearson and husband Lyndell of Watonga; granddaughter Amy Strong and husband Chris of Broken Arrow; grandson Brian Pearson and wife Amanda of Yukon; great-grandkids Cali and Brooklyn Strong, Cody and Bryn Pearson; sister Joyce Treece and husband Lynn; brother Charles Williams of Okarche; and several other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son Larry Castonguay, infant granddaughter Stephanie Pearson, mother Claudine Williams, father Buster Williams and brother Sterling Williams.

Memorials may be made to the Kingfisher Federated Church.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Kingfisher Federated Church with burial following at Kingfisher Cemetery.

Services were under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
