Robert ‘Bob’ Morris

Robert “Bob” Maxwell Morris was born Nov. 16, 1939, in El Reno to John William and Ethel (Folsom) Morris.

He passed away Feb. 10, 2023, in Hydro at the age of 83.

Bob grew up in El Reno and lived most of his life in Oklahoma.

He married Onie Viola “Bid” Ward on April 23, 1980.

Bob was a plumber from the age of 14 to 70 years.

Survivors Include his son John Morris and wife Tara Bomhoff of Watonga; his stepdaughters Dee Houston and husband Johnnie of Del City, Sharon Van Buskirk and husband Darryl of Everett, Mich., and Jenni McDaniel of Racine, Wisc.; 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, sister Marie Musgrove, and great-nephew Phret Wright.

Graveside services are 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at Kingfisher Cemetery with Rev. James Inman officiating.

Services are under the direction of Turner Funeral Home, Geary.
