Rita Jane Vogt Kretchmar

Rita Jane Vogt Kretchmar died Nov. 20, 2020, at St. Katharine Drexel Retirement Center in El Reno.

A rosary was held Monday in the Benson Memorial Chapel and Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at Holy Trinity Church in Okarche with Rev. Cory Stanley officiating.

Interment followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Janey was born Oct. 12, 1926, at Okarche.

A lifelong resident of the Okarche area, she was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of the Americas and enjoyed sewing, baking, and crocheting. She was retired from Western Electric.

Her husbands, Zenon L. Vogt and Joseph R. Kretchmar preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Catherine (Stieferman) Wiewel, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Janey is survived by her children and their spouses, Larry and Patricia Vogt of Okarche, Susan and David Hoehner of Piedmont, and Randy and Kathy Vogt of Okarche; sister, Mary Kulbacki of Carson City, Nev.; 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
