Services for Michael “Moe” Moore, 71, Enid, were Saturday, Aug. 1 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Mark Hein officiating.
Michael was born Sept. 6, 1948, in Kingfisher, to Donald “Dink” Moore and Peggy Beard Moore and passed away July 28, 2020, at his daughter’s house near Garber.
Moe attended and graduated from Hennessey High School in 1967. He attended Garden City Community College before transferring to Northwestern State University where he played football for two years.
He went to work for Pillsbury Milling Co. and ADM Milling Co. and retired in 2008 after 36 years.
He married Cathy Simmons in 1972.
He is survived by his daughter Minka Betchan and husband Jay of Garber; three grandsons and one great-granddaughter; sister Donna Chancellor and husband Jim of Ada; and brother Tommy Moore of Enid; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation and service arrangements were under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
