Merle Boutwell

Merle Boutwell, 73, Enid, passed away Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021.

Graveside services were Monday, Nov. 8, at Waukomis Cemetery with Diane Rosen officiating.

Services were under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home of Enid.

Merle was born Jan. 14, 1948, in Kingfisher to Leonard Lee and Florence Ruth (Schroeder) Boutwell.

He graduated from Enid High School before enlisting in the United States Navy.

Merle worked for the City of Enid for several years and was an avid coin collector.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Brenda (Cates) Boutwell; brothers Marvin, Fred and Homer Boutwell; sister Mary Ann Mullins; and cousins Clyde Boutwell and Linda Kay Wright.
