Marvin Hunt
Marvin Lloyd Hunt, Jr., of Okarche, formerly of Roff, peacefully passed away March 2, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born in Sulphur on Dec. 21, 1955, to Marvin Lloyd Hunt, Sr., and Twila Mae (Smith) Hunt.
He graduated from Vanoss High School in 1974.
Marvin married his loving and caring wife Sherri Ellen Hart in Ada on Aug. 17, 1979.
He worked at Evergreen Feed Mill in Ada for 8-10 years. He also worked at Blue Bonnet Feed Mill in Ardmore.
Later he worked as a truck driver and warehouse supervisor for Brenntag Southwest and, lastly, he was a truck driver for Freymiller- OKC. He is survived by his wife, Sherri Ellen Hunt; one son, Mitchell Lloyd Hunt of Sulphur; and one daughter, Jillian Ashley Hoke of Okarche.
He was Papa to two grandsons, Jimmy Lee Hunt of Sulphur and Gabe Mollohan of Okarche; and three granddaughters, Elora Hunt of Sulphur, and Brianna Mollohan and Alivia Hoke of Okarche.
He is also survived by his godson Anthony Lawson of Okarche; three sisters, Sabra Clemmer and husband Joe of Owasso, Carolynn Pittman and husband Paul of Roff and Tina Walker and husband Kenneth of Norman; and one brother, William “Bill” Hunt and wife Debbie of Springfield, Mo.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Marvin was preceded in death by grandparents and parents; one sister, Carla Gaye Hunt and one brother, Larry Bruce Hunt.
A celebration of life for Marvin will be at Lightning Ridge Church, 1893 County Rd 3460, Roff, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service. Lunch will be provided.
