AREA DEATH

The funeral for Marcia Henry, 86, was Tuesday July 9, at First Baptist Church in Hennessey, officiated by Rev. Dr. Don Rogers.

Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Marcia was born on Sept. 11, 1932, to Charles and Hazel Sills Cain and died Saturday, July 6, 2019, at her home in Hennessey. She married William W. “Bill” Henry in Enid on July 2, 1955.

She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church. Marcia was librarian at Hennessey Elementary School for a number of years.

She is survived by two sons, Scott Henry, Mark Henry and wife Susan, all of Hennessey, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a special nephew. ›

Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, sister Marjorie Knierihm, brother Bob Cain, daughter-in-law Denice Henry and one infant daughter, Nancy Henry.
