Johnnie Kay (Conley) Dill, 68, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25 at home.

Johnnie Kay was born June 28, 1954, in Checotah to William Neff “Bill” and Sarah “Pat” (Varble) Conley.

Education began at Washington Grade School in Kingfisher and moved to Dover her senior year, graduating from Dover High School in 1972. She attended two years at Autry Vo-Tech in Enid.

Johnnie Kay began her work history at Jones Drug in Kingfisher and went on to become a chairside dental assistant for Dr. Robison DDS in Kingfisher, Dr. Teage DDS and Dr. Buck DDS in Pampa, Texas, and at Family Dental in Kingfi sher.

She also worked at Walmart in Kingfisher and Enid and recently retired from HD Goat Ranching in Dover.

Along with her interests in gardening, Johnnie Kay loved her horses. She trained horses and participated in barrel racing and trail rides.

She enjoyed encouraging others with interests in horses, gardening and showing goats.

Johnnie Kay married Carl Edward “Eddie” House on Aug. 25, 1972, in Kingfi sher.

She is survived by daughter Freedom Kay House and son Wade (Stacy) House, all of Dover; three grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; siblingsBillieJo(Leon) Kochenower of Kingfisher, Patsy Souter of Fargo, N.D., and Georgie Burstein of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; many loved nieces, nephews and cousins; and aunts, Rebecca (Ernie) Palmer of Norwalk, Calif., and Wilma Conley, Wilburton.

She was preceded in death by daughter Liberty Gail House, her parents, siblings Doris June Todd and Jack Neff Conley; and brothers-in-law Lennie Burstein and Billy Wayne “Bill” Souter.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at Sanders Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at Dover Christian Church with burial following at Hennessey Cemetery.
