Janet West

Memorial services for Janet I. West, 64, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday Nov. 21, at Hennessey First Baptist Church officiated by Jimmy Berkenbile and Todd Cameron.

Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Janet was born in Rawlins, Wyo., on March 6, 1956, to Walt and Barbara Delambert Herod and died Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Janet graduated from Hennessey High School in 1975 and earned her bachelor’s degree from Phillips University.

She married David West in Canton on April 21, 2001.

Janet is survived by her husband of the home; two daughters, Frances Mochon and Danna McClurg, both of Hennessey; one son, David West, Jr., of Freedom; her parents, of Hennessey; one brother, Danny Herod of Kansas City, Kan.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Teeples, and her first husband, Daniel McClurg.
