James ‘Jimmy’ Carter Jr.

James M. “Jimmy” Carter Jr., 80, of Kingfisher, passed away Jan. 30, 2022.

Services were Saturday, Feb. 5, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Oklahoma City. Burial followed at Kingfisher Cemetery.

Jimmy was born April 1, 1941, to James and Mildred (Webber) Carter.

He was retired from his career as a printer at Central Office Supply in Kingfisher.

Jimmy liked to fish and play cards with friends at the Kingfisher Senior Citizens Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald Carter.

Survivors include: son David Carter and wife Tracy of Broken Arrow; daughter Cheryl Carter of Denver, Colo.; grand-children Amethyst Carter, Alisha Carter, Candace Randall, Brandy Ayers and Cassandra Randall; and great-grandchildren Jacen Kochenower, Sylis Bonn, Emrys Kelley, Evan Carter, Lola Prewitt, Kaylee Randall, Jayden Fudge and Lenora Delaplain.
