Gary Stinebring

Gary Stinebring, Sr., 82, was born at Rosie’s Corner, Sefton Township, Ill., on June 3, 1942, to Elmer Forrest and Virginia Grace Turner Stinebring and died Thursday, March 6, 2025, at his home in Hennessey surrounded by his family.

There will be no services at Gary’s request.

Gary married Hildana “Dandy” Coppersmith in Sefton Township on Sept. 16, 1962.

The family moved to Hennessey in 1966 where Gary was working at Exxon, from which he retired.

He is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Ann Marotta and husband William of Topeka, Kan.; one son, Gary Stinebring, Jr., and wife Teresa of Edmond; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several foster great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Dale Stinebring, Brad Stinebring and John Stinebring.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one brother, Paul Stinebring.

Arrangements were under the direction of Cordry- Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.
