Gail Hardin
Recitation of the Rosary for Gail Hardin, 79, was Tuesday, Dec. 20, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial was Dec. 21, at St. Joseph’s officiated by Rev. Edward Menasco and Rev. John Herrera.
Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Gail was born in Oilton on Jan. 17, 1943, to Jack and Betty Shrives Clinkinbeard and died Friday, Dec. 16, 2022, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid.
She married Floyd Hardin in Wichita Falls, Texas, on July 3, 1959.
The couple moved to Hennessey in 1961.
In 1962 they started Industrial Ignition in which Gail played an integral role.
The company is still successfully operating today.
In 1974 Gail started Gail’s Grill.
Gail is survived by her husband Floyd of the home; three sons, Brent Hardin and wife Deb, Wes Hardin and wife Linda, Dagan Hardin and wife Lezlie, and one daughter-in-law, Cheri Hardin, all of Hennessey; cousin Ann Stiegman of Hugoton, Kan.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Tracy Hardin, brother Joe Clinkinbeard and sister Judy Jones.
