Franklin Nault

Franklin Delano Nault was born Nov. 20, 1935, to John L. and Christina (Kotsmith) Nault in Okeene and passed away June 11, 2020, following a short illness. He was 84.

Franklin graduated from Okeene High School in 1953.

He married Delores Ann Knopp on Oct. 18, 1954, in Enid.

Franklin was a lifelong farmer, but also began a career as an insurance agent in Okeene in 1963 until retirement in February 2018.

Franklin was a former member of the Okeene Kiwanis and an active 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus.

Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, five siblings, his wife and one son, Timothy.

He is survived by six sons and their wives, Mark and Cena of Edmond, Pat and Carla of Kilgore, Texas, Dale and Angela of Edmond, Francis and Sabrina of Kingfisher, Lawrence and Cora of High Ridge, Mo., and Raymond and Janel of Okeene; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
