Ervin Meacham

Ervin Lawrence Meacham, 88, of Colorado Springs, Colo., passed away on May 30, 2023, peacefully in his sleep.

On Feb. 20, 1955, Ervin married Lu Rita (Henry) in Colorado Springs and they would share nearly 60 years of marriage together.

Ervin and Rita went on to have three children: daughters Lois (Dave) and Beverly (DJ) and son Frank (Holly).

Ervin and Rita enjoyed traveling together, espeing cially on cruise ships with family and friends.

They would return to Colorado Springs as their home after living in Georgia, Texas and Oklahoma.

Ervin was predeceased by Rita (2015) and his brothers Eugene and Kermit.

He is survived by his three children, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Swan-Law Funeral Home in Colorado Springs on Saturday, June 10.

Ervin will be interred with Rita in St. Francis, Kan. at a later date.
