Debra Walters

Debra Kay Walters, 63, of Crescent, passed away April 4, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Debbie was born Sept. 6, 1957, to James and Kay Carter of Dover.

A celebration of life service was April 11, at the First United Methodist Church in Crescent with Pastor Dave Petty officiating.

Debbie married Earl LeRoy Harvey in 1981; they divorced in 1983.

They had one daughter, Erica K. Carter.

Debbie married Buddy Walters on Sept. 21, 2015.

He preceded her in death on April 2, 2020.

Debbie worked for Pioneer Telephone in Kingfisher for 25 years. After she retired from Pioneer, she worked at Kingfisher Regional Hospital as a registration clerk before going to work as dispatcher at Hennessey Police Department.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, grandchild Tyler Spears, grandparents and several uncles.

Survivors include her daughter Erica Spears and her husband Rick of Crescent; her brother Don Carter of Norman; aunt Linda Musgrove, uncle Roy Lee Counts, aunt Nancy Counts Hayes, uncle Robert Bohm, uncle Teddy Ryun and aunt Janelle Poore; and seven grandchildren.
