Carolyn Green

The funeral for Carolyn Green, 79, was Tuesday April 25, at Dover Christian Church officiated by Jimmy Berkenbile. Burial followed at Dover Cemetery under the direction of Cordry- Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

Carolyn was born in Enid on Feb. 12, 1944, to Antone and Vera Brown Hladik and died Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Hennessey Care Center.

She was a member of Dover Christian Church.

Carolyn married Jimmie Green in Hennessey on Oct. 6, 1962.

She cooked for many years at Dover Public Schools and the Kingfisher hospital.

Carolyn is survived by two sons, Greg Green and wife Veronica of Dover and Mike Green of Hennessey; one daughter, Lisa Thompson and husband Danny of Hennessey; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four step-grandsons; one brother, Eddie Hladik and wife Glennis; and one cousin, Alicia Powell of Kingfisher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Dover Christian Church with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
