Carole Chapman-Wallace

Carole K. Best Chapman-Wallace was born Sept. 29, 1943, in El Reno.

She passed away April 3, 2022, in Fairfield, Calif., from ravages of Alzheimer’s disease.

Carole was the daughter of Raymond and Mable Best of Kingfisher County.

She is survived by her brothers Keith Best of Crescent and Max Best of Rocklin, Calif.; two sons, Scott Chapman and Keith Chapman; and two grandchildren.

Her husbands, Bruce Chapman and Tom Wallace, preceded her in death.

After attending schools in Kingfisher and Los Angeles, Carole had a long, successful career with Pacific Bell Corporation, where she retired at the age of 48 and kept active.
