ALL CLEAR — As of 2:34 p.m. Tuesday, the state Department of Environmental Quality lifted the boil order for the City of Kingfisher's municipal water supply, declaring it once again safe for human consumption. The announcement came too late to be included in the story appearing in the Times & Free Press digital and print editions for Wednesday. City Manager Dave Slezickey marked the announcement by taking a big drink from the water fountain at City Hall. See the City of Kingfisher or the Times & Free Press Facebook pages for recommended precautions to clear your home lines of any contamination risk before resuming normal water usage.
