Chief lists PD promotions

Kingfisher Chief of Police Dennis Baker announced several promotions in his department in the wake of the retirement of longtime assistant chief Jeff Townsend.

David Catron was promoted from lieutenant to captain and serves as the new assistant police chief.

Travis Gray was promoted from senior sergeant to lieutenant.

Sgt. Dustin Brodrick will serve as the new senior sergeant and Justin Trumbly was promoted from patrolman to sergeant.

Other members of the force include patrolmen Charles Trout, Aaron Schlegel (who also serves as K9 handler), Richard Staton, Justin Conner, Sam Ridenhour and Broden Carls; senior animal control officer Quinton Cline; animal control and code enforcement officer Jason East and dispatcher and records clerk Tina Throne.
