THEIR TURN – Nobody has won more Wheat Capital Tournament championships than the Kingfi sher High School boys. The Jackets have laid claim to 14 titles since the tournament began in 1970. The KHS girls had just one championship...and that was in 2009. The Lady Jackets have come close multiple times, including being runner-up fi ve times since 2018. That changed Monday night when the KHS girls handled Jones - the team that beat them in each of the last two fi nals - 60-44 at Chisholm High School to win the tournament championship.
