Read moreKingfisher County natives Jennifer Storck (left) and Gina Denten (right) completed the 125th Boston Marathon last Monday. The long time friends crossed the finish line together in 4:10.43. “Boston was incredible!” reported Storck after the race. “As predicted, we ran slower - the course was hilly and tough - but we did it and finished together!” Denten grew up in Lacy and currently lives in Colorado. Storck grew up in Ames, but graduated from Hennessey in 1994, two years after Denten. She lives with her family in Texas. They are pictured below crossing the finish line (see arrow) at Boston, which is the oldest and one of the most prestigious marathons in the world.
