The Reids and Kingfisher Times and Free Press have been and continue to be as big of supporters of Kingfisher, myself, and this effort as I could possibly hope for. Those of you who know me, know that I have long been passionately involved in trying to better Kingfisher through Kingfisher Trails and Kingfisher Tree Board and the Reids have been a tremendous help. Barry Reid and his wife, Mary, are close personal friends of Liz and me. Both the newspaper and the Reids personally have been faithful and significant customers for Walter Building Center and the list for which I am indebted to them goes on. For goodness sake, I wouldn’t be writing this without Gary Reid’s personal encouragement and you would not be reading it if not for Kingfisher Times and Free Press’ willingness to print it. But I am sorry, I just couldn’t do it. I couldn’t start out this effort in the Kingfisher paper.
