We lost Mike Johnson last Saturday morning at 9 a.m. Many people in this community knew him much better than I did, but I got to know Mike pretty well over the 39 years I’ve lived here. I would guess I visited with him at least once every two weeks or so over that time. Mike and his brother John, and now John’s son Jeff, who manage and operate Johnsons of Kingfisher, have grown to be much more than friends over the years and we have been very proud to call them such.
