Pictured with Rotary President Neal Brown, the two talked of progress made with the Kingfisher Trails project that will eventually encircle Kingfisher with an approximately 9.5 mile walking and nature trail. They announced that Boecher Lake (named after Roy Boecher), located in the flood plain on the northwest side of downtown, directly west of Walter Building Center, was now a prominent feature of the trails. It was made possible through a $500,000 donation by the Newfield Foundation.
